​MJ SORENSON, CEO
​​With over 20 years working for international media organizations, MJ gained extensive experience and 3k+ top-level LinkedIn connections in the entertainment industry through producing and participating in events in several countries. In 2011, she founded MJ Global Communications LLC and her portfolio of clients include: Something Special in Korea, Media Ranch Canada, CCTV/CITVC and Star China, Zee TV India, GRB, Mongol TV, Bomanbridge Singapore and others.

MJ began her career at MTV Networks in New York, working in marketing, promotions and programming for 10 years, also working in London for one year helping to launch MTV Europe. Next she became head of Marketing & Communications at the International Emmy Awards, producing events around the world -- Singapore, Jordan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Germany; producing marketing & press campaigns, securing sponsorship with NBC, BBC, Phoenix China, ABC, MGM, TGRT Turkey, KBS, Microsoft. She also extended the  brand through 20+ strategic partnerships such as Air France, Sofitel Hotels, CASBAA Hong Kong, FRAMES India. 

At Reed Midem, as Exec Director of Client Services & Partnerships; and North American Sales she managed major clients such as NBC, CBS, Lionsgate, Discovery, Scripps, among many others. She handled large events such as the MIPCOM world  premiere of GK-tv's "Camelot" with Joseph Fiennes & Ava Green as well as Fox's 20th Anniversary of "The Simpsons" with Matt Groening.

Feature speaking engagements include: Asia TV Forum (virtual - Dec 2020) Presenting "Fresh Content - China Dramas" | China International Film & Television Forum, Beijing 2019 - Master Class Presenter "Navigating the Global Marketplace"  I NATPE LASI Speaker 2019 | The Format People Producers Master Class in Beijing 2016 and KOCCA's Format Producer Master Class in Seoul 2015. MJ served as Vice President of Communications on the Board of New York Women In Film & Television from 2002-2004. She was an adviser for the launch of FRAMES India.
